A news item in the Hindu dated 23-7-2014 acknowledges the contribution made by late Lanka Krishna Murti for the setting up of Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha.

Lanka Krishna Murti Foundation was inaugurated on June 1st, 2014, at a well organized meeting that was well-attended by the members of both by the Lanka and Kondur families, as well as relatives, friends and well-wishers. We are deeply grateful to all who attended the inaugural and felicitation functions, as their presence made the event more enjoyable.
- The morning session started with a Satsang, which began with a Presentation on Meditation by Sri K.V.Anjaneyalu, followed by a Guided Meditation practice.
- Prof. S. Ragunatha Sharma in his Vedapathanam recited some manthras from the Taitthiriya Upanishad.
- There was a collective recitation of Shankara’s Soundaryalahari.
- Then Sri Sathyanarayana Vratam was performed.
- In the evening session, Lanka Krishna Murti Foundation was inaugurated.
